What is S.A.F.F.E.?
S.A.F.F.E. is a talented and knowledgeable team helping parents and professionals who are dedicated to healing children primarily with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). However, S.A.F.F.E. also helps parents and professionals working with children who have other issues such as bipolar disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).
What is S.A.F.F.E.’s Mission?
S.A.F.F.E. provides support, services, and training to families struggling with the challenges and obstacles of raising and healing attachment disordered children. S.A.F.F.E. also trains and supports professionals in the community involved in the healing process for these special families.
What Makes S.A.F.F.E. Different?
Traditional therapies and interventions do not often work with children who have Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). With the experts and resources garnered, S.A.F.F.E. has helped implement successful methods to heal the hearts of many of these children who have been considered unreachable. Because these children can bring chaos to a family, often the whole family is hurt and suffering, leaving them feeling helpless and hopeless. Therefore, S.A.F.F.E. takes a holistic approach in helping heal not only the child, but the family as well.
