S.A.F.F.E. Conference in 2008
Healing Hearts After Trauma
May 8-10, 2008
Windmill Suites
Arizona Ballroom
in the Phoenix Metro Area
Mark your calendars for the upcoming S.A.F.F.E.
conference in 2008! The dates are May 8 - 10, 2008
in the Phoenix metro area (location being
researched).
We have a terrific lineup of talented, knowledgeable
and entertaining speakers who will speak on various
issues with attachment disorder and its effects on
the children, the families, and how to heal.
If you haven't seen Nancy Thomas speak, then
you're in for a treat. Those who live and work with
families who have children with attachment disorder
know that it's not a laughing matter. However, Nancy
will help you find your smile again and bring humor
and joy back into your home. She is an author,
international speaker, and has healed children who
have killed. She speaks from experience and shares
knowledge on regaining control of the household.
Deborah Hage is an exceptional therapist who
has
helped children and families work through their
issues and regain a family life. She understands the
trauma to all family members, not just the
attachment disordered children, and take a holistic
approach to healing.
Dr. Augusta Roth, a graduate of Yale Medical
School with honors, is board certified in general
and forensic psychiatry. She has many years of
experience in working with traumatized children and
treating them to help them heal.
The techniques and strategies you will learn during
this 3-day conference will give insights to begin
the healing process whether you're a parent and need
to develop therapeutic parenting skills or a
professional who works with these children and
families as a teacher, counselor, social worker,
psychologist, psychiatrist, family or friend.
Plan to join us for this exciting 3-day event that
past attendees have said "changed their life!"
